Steve Hampton has been part of the music scene for five decades, building a career that’s taken him across stages, studios, and continents. With years of experience behind him, music isn’t something he does, it’s who he is.
A natural performer, Steve has always had a knack for connecting with people. Whether it’s an intimate gig, or a festival, he brings warmth, humour, and professionalism to every single performance – his genuine friendly persona and talent has built a solid fan base and loyalty.
Over the years, Steve has worked with a wide range of artists including Joe Jackson, The Vapors, Ashley Campbell, and toured the world with EXTC – Terry Chambers and Friends. He has never been tied to one sound either, moving between rock, pop, country, and Americana.
Steve travelled to Nashville in 2018 with his Americana project Dead Crow Road, where he was signed to Creative & Dreams Music Network and saw chart success in the US. It’s just one example of where the journey has taken him.
Now stepping out on his own, Steve is focusing on the music that feels right to him – honest, well crafted, and built on years of experience. With new material for this new chapter in his musical career, this next chapter is less about starting over and more about continuing a journey that’s been going strong for decades.
